About the Role
As Merchandise Manager, you will lead the team responsible for delivering seamless category, promotional, and catalogue execution. From initial strategy through to planogram implementation, you'll ensure our processes are efficient, accurate, and commercially successful. You'll collaborate closely with Marketing, Operations, and Supplier partners to deliver results that matter.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and inspire the Merchandise Team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture.
Own the end-to-end category and catalogue process, from strategy and planning to execution and review.
Oversee catalogue creation, ensuring content, supplier contributions, and deadlines are delivered accurately.
Collaborate with Marketing, Operations, and Suppliers to implement promotional campaigns and product transitions.
Ensure planograms, ranging, and compliance requirements are completed and maintained across the network.
Analyse category performance, identify opportunities for growth and margin improvement, and implement solutions.
Manage supplier relationships, supporting negotiations, new product setups, and trading agreements.
Continuously improve team processes, workflows, and cross-functional communication.

About You
Proven leadership experience managing a merchandise or category team.
Strong understanding of the end-to-end category and catalogue process.
Excellent computer skills and particularly excel.
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills with the ability to work across multiple stakeholders.
Commercially minded with problem-solving ability and a results-driven focus.
