Job Title: Business Development Manager / BusinessDevelopment Officer

Job Summary

Madre Group is seeking a proactive, commerciallydriven, and relationship-oriented Business Development Manager / BusinessDevelopment Officer to support the growth and market expansion of Madre Janusin Australia.

The selected candidate will be responsible foridentifying new business opportunities, building and nurturing clientrelationships, promoting cybersecurity solutions and managed services, andcontributing to revenue growth across the Australian market. This role requiresa professional who can confidently engage with prospective clients, understandtheir business and security needs, and position relevant solutions accordingly.

The ideal candidate should have proven experience inbusiness development or sales within the technology, cybersecurity, managedservices, or related sectors, along with exposure to Fortinet products andsolutions. Candidates with Fortinet Sales certification and/or Fortinet NSEcertification will have an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

* Drive business development initiatives for Madre Janus across theAustralian market.
* Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities to supportrevenue generation and long-term market growth.
* Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline through direct outreach,networking, referrals, market mapping, and strategic relationshipdevelopment.
* Establish and maintain strong relationships with prospectiveclients, decision-makers, and key stakeholders across target industries.
* Promote and position Madre Janus' cybersecurity solutions, managedservices, and technology offerings in line with customer requirements andbusiness priorities.
* Engage clients in discussions around Fortinet products andsolutions, including their value proposition, business relevance, andapplication to cybersecurity needs.
* Work closely with internal technical, delivery, and leadership teamsto align client requirements with service capability and solution design.
* Arrange and participate in client meetings, business presentations,and commercial discussions to introduce company capabilities and buildopportunities.
* Prepare proposals, capability documents, presentations, andcommercial submissions in coordination with relevant internalstakeholders.
* Conduct market research to understand industry trends, competitoractivities, customer expectations, and emerging opportunities within theAustralian market.
* Support commercial negotiations, proposal follow-ups, and onboardingcoordination for new clients.
* Maintain accurate records of leads, meetings, pipeline movement, andsales activity through CRM systems or internal reporting tools.
* Represent Madre Group and Madre Janus professionally at clientmeetings, networking events, industry engagements, and business forums.
* Contribute to the broader market-entry and growth strategy for MadreJanus in Australia.
* Achieve assigned sales, pipeline, and conversion targets in linewith organizational objectives.

Required Qualifications and Experience

* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales,Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
* Proven experience in business development, sales, clientacquisition, account management, or commercial relationship management.
* Strong experience in B2B business development and opportunitygeneration.
* Demonstrated ability to identify client needs, engage prospects, andsupport conversion of opportunities into business outcomes.
* Good understanding of technology solutions, cybersecurity services,managed services, or solution-based selling.
* Experience dealing with Fortinet products and solutions and theability to support client discussions around cybersecurity requirements.
* Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonalskills.
* Sound commercial awareness and ability to understand both customerpriorities and business objectives.
* Strong organizational skills, reporting discipline, and attention todetail.
* Ability to work independently, take initiative, and maintain aresults-oriented approach.
* Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and professionalmaturity.

Preferred Qualifications

* Prior experience in cybersecurity, MSSP, IT services, SaaS, cloudsolutions, or managed services environments.
* Exposure to the Australian business landscape and understanding oflocal market practices.
* Existing network of industry contacts or business relationships inAustralia would be beneficial.
* Experience in selling or positioning cybersecurity solutions,service-based offerings, or enterprise technology solutions.
* Familiarity with Fortinet architecture, cybersecurity offerings, andmanaged security use cases will be a strong advantage.
* Understanding of cybersecurity concepts such as firewalls, endpointsecurity, secure remote access, SOC services, threat monitoring, andsecurity operations.
* Fortinet Sales certification and/or Fortinet NSE certification willbe considered an added advantage.
