Summary
As a Sales Development Representative, Mid-Market, you will play a vital role in entering new accounts and fostering relationships with multiple contacts across all levels of our target customer segments. You will understand the impact you create on the bottom line. Your day-to-day duties include collaborating with the wider sales team, conducting market research to identify new prospects, and qualifying leads by learning their onboarding approach.
Responsibilities
Drive Deel's growth through inbound and outbound prospecting, generating leads that turn into opportunities and closed business.
Learn from veteran sales team members and help build our Sales Playbook and Tech Stack.
Educate and develop leads via phone, email, events, webinars, and other campaigns.
Understand each lead-generation process, support marketing activities, and hand off leads to Account Executives.
Generate email sequences and make cold calls to map and penetrate accounts.
Conduct follow-up calls and emails until meetings are set.
Qualifications
2-3 years of experience in a sales development or similar outbound commercial role.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, remote team environment.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Self-motivated, results-driven, and eager to learn.
Autonomous and capable of self-sourcing solutions.
Proven track record of exceeding targets in a quota-carrying role.
Experience with CRM systems and sales engagement tools is a plus.
Smart, hard-working, and entrepreneurial with a growth mindset.
Strong writing skills to craft email copy and conversion-focused sequences.
Adaptable and comfortable with fast-paced environments.
Collaborative relationship builder who improves processes and communication workflows.
Preferred experience working at an HR or fintech company.
Preferred experience at a fast-growing startup.
Preferred experience in a remote & distributed team.
Native/fluent in English and French.
