About the Role
We are seeking a Registered Nurse to fill the position of Clinical Coordinator for our clients in Canberra. This role will involve coordinating the delivery of services to clients with complex care needs, developing and implementing client care plans, and providing clinical guidance to clients and support staff.
Your Responsibilities
This role encompasses several key responsibilities:
* Managing the day-to-day operations of the Canberra branch.
* Ensuring optimal branch performance and increasing branch revenue.
* Taking part in networking and industry events to improve outreach and expand the service portfolio.
* Developing and reviewing client care plans and clinical documentation.
* Identifying and addressing any clinical matters or obstacles impacting client care.
* Facilitating training and education workshops for support staff to enhance their skills and professional development.
* Maintaining relationships with clients through regular visits.
* Managing stock orders and reviewing client progress notes.
* Ensuring compliance with Work Health & Safety regulations.
* Managing clinical compliance for all clients to meet Attendant Care Industry and National Disability standards.
* Liaising with allied health professionals, support coordinators, and other external stakeholders.
About You
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse who possesses excellent communication and leadership qualities. The ideal candidate should have current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse, a passion for health education, strong organisational and computer skills, and the ability to work remotely and autonomously when required. Additionally, they should have knowledge of the NDIS and other funding bodies, be results-oriented, and committed to total quality management.
