About the Role
We are seeking a motivated Residential Care & Services Manager to join our Amberlea facility in Drouin, Victoria, on a full-time basis, Monday to Friday .
Reporting to the Residential Aged Care Operations Manager, this role will ensure the facility maintains high-quality, consumer-centred care and services, focusing on the whole person’s well-being and partnering with consumers to meet their choices, needs, and preferences. The Residential Care and Services Manager will provide leadership to their local team, enabling and influencing performance within the Baptcare framework.
Key Responsibilities
The role focuses on outcomes across four core areas:
1. Quality care and compliance with aged care standards.
2. People: residents, staff, and stakeholders.
3. Operational performance.
4. Financial performance.
About You
You should have previous leadership experience, a proven ability to lead and motivate staff, and excellent communication skills to promote a consumer-focused service. Your commercial acumen and budgeting experience will support continuous improvement activities to grow and uplift services.
Ideally, you will have:
* 3-5 years’ leadership experience.
* Tertiary qualification in Health or Aged Care.
* Strong interpersonal skills and team collaboration ability.
* Knowledge of continuous improvement frameworks.
* A commitment to best practices in aged care, ensuring dignity, comfort, and quality of life for residents.
