About the Role
If you are a recent accounting graduate (or about to graduate) with a keen interest in the financial services and wealth management industry, then this may be the opportunity for you. You will be able to develop your career with a growing specialisation.
You will receive supported client interaction from when you commence to help you grow and develop in a great work environment.
A typical day may include:
* entering and allocating accounting transactions for self-managed super funds (SMSFs)
* undertaking bank and investment reconciliations
* interacting with clients over email and the phone
* preparing financial statements and tax returns for SMSFs
* working on rollovers, contributions, pensions and lump sums for funds
* liaising with third parties such as the Australian Tax Office and financial institutions
* accurate record keeping, processing and system management, and
* supporting our network of financial and investment advisers.
About You
Key to your success in the role will be:
* A relevant Bachelors' degree (Commerce or similar) with a major in Accounting
* Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
* Strong attention to detail.
* A willingness to learn.
* Your ability to manage competing priorities
* Your self-driven approach.
* 1-2 years experience within Accounting is preferred but not required
