The Senior Financial Director is responsible for leading all financial and commercial aspects of the mining operation, with a strong focus on warehousing and cost control.
You will work closely with mine management, the corporate finance team, and external partners to deliver strong financial outcomes and optimise supply chain performance.
* Lead all financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and cost management for the site.
* Oversee warehousing, inventory control, and procurement, ensuring stock accuracy, cost efficiency, and compliance with corporate guidelines.
* Analyse operational costs and identify opportunities for savings and process improvement.
* Manage and negotiate financial and vendor contracts, ensuring value, compliance, and risk mitigation.
* Provide financial insights to support decisions on capital projects, equipment purchases, and business planning.
* Maintain robust internal controls and ensure timely, accurate reporting in line with accounting standards.
