We are seeking a personable and motivated IT Operations Analyst to join our team as the primary point of contact for IT support services. In this role, you will provide first-line technical assistance to staff, support onboarding and offboarding processes, and help maintain a secure and efficient technology environment. RESPONSIBILITIES
* Serve as the primary point of contact for all IT support requests
* Facilitate onboarding and offboarding for new and departing staff
* Build and configure laptops
* Troubleshoot hardware and software issues (onsite and remote)
* Document issues, resolutions, and best practices
* Manage tickets throughout their lifecycle using our ITSM platform
* Maintain and contribute to internal IT documentation and user guides
* Assist staff in understanding and navigating the IT environment
* Manage file access and user permissions
* Track and manage device assets via Intune
* Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff when required
* Support broader IT initiatives and projects
* Follow security-first principles in all work activities
EXPERINCE
* Minimum 1 year of relevant IT support experience
REQUIRED SKILLS
* Proficiency with Windows and macOS operating systems
* Working knowledge of Office 365 applications (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, etc.)
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Experience using an IT ticketing system
* Strong problem-solving abilities
* Ability to follow processes and procedures
* Comfortable explaining technical concepts to non-technical staff
* Experience with AV/conference room setup and troubleshooting
* Ability to apply effective troubleshooting methodologies
* Prior IT support or helpdesk experience (advantageous)
DESIRED SKILLS
* Experience with Microsoft 365 Admin Centers (Defender, Intune, Entra)
* Exposure to on-premises IT environments
* Virtualisation experience
* Understanding of cybersecurity concepts (CIA Triad, Defence in Depth, Zero Trust, Least Privilege)
* Basic PowerShell skills
* Understanding of networking fundamentals and the OSI model
