Join the Allied Health Team as a Dental Assistant delivering high-quality, patient-centred oral healthcare that meets the unique needs of individuals in custody and supports their overall wellness.
This is a casual role, Monday to Friday, 2 days per week (flexible days).
In This Role, You Will
* Deliver high-quality, efficient, patient-centred dental care
* Address custodial oral health needs to support overall wellbeing
* Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to deliver coordinated, patient-centred care
* Communicate effectively with health staff, custodial teams, and external providers
To Be Successful In This Role, You Will Have
* Certificate III in Dental Assisting (HLT35021) from a registered training organisation (RTO)
* If with Certificate IV in Dental Assisting - Dental Radiography, must hold a current license with radiation authority
* Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
* First Aid Certificate
* Excellent communication and documentation skills
* Cultural awareness and the ability to work with diverse populations
