ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking applications from experienced Registered Nurse for a Permanent Part-Time position offering 26.25 HRS Per fortnight at our St Georges Care Centre in Bayswater.
The successful candidate must be able to commit to the below shifts and ideally have the flexibility to pick up additional hours as required
Week One:
Friday 2200-0715
Sunday 2200-0715
Week Two:
Thursday 2200-0715
Please note, you must be able to commit to all days/shifts to be considered.
Essential Criteria:
1. Registration with APHRA for minimum 3 years
2. Valid Police Clearance no older than 6 months (or ability to obtain at interview stage)
3. NDIS Screen Check (or willingness to obtain at interview stage)
4. Evidence of Flu (2024) and Covid Vaccinations (including Booster if eligible)
5. Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and reference checks
6. Willingness to attend a paid 1-day (Monday) induction at our Rivervale Training Institute
7. Ability to prioritise workload and manage time effectively
8. Previous experience documenting in aged care.
9. Previous experience providing training to care staff
10. Advanced written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
11. Understanding of legislation impacting on nursing practise
12. Successful completion of pre medical form and reference checks
Key responsibilities:
13. Registered with the Nurses’ Board of WA as a General Nurse
14. Experience working within Aged Care
15. Proven ability to lead and manage a team
16. Knowledge of the resident classification scale, accreditation and continuous improvement
17. Well-developed computer skills
18. Valid Police Clearance no older than 6 months (or ability to obtain at interview stage)
19. NDIS Screen Check (or willingness to obtain at interview stage)
20. Evidence of Flu (2024) and Covid Vaccinations (including Booster if eligible)
21. Ability to pass a pre-employment medical
22. Willingness to attend a paid 2-day (Monday & Tuesday) induction at our Rivervale Training Institute
