We are seeking a motivated FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) Assistant to join our BPO team. This role is critical to ensuring our financial reporting cadence is maintained and that the FP&A function has the necessary support to provide accurate, timely, and insightful reporting. The FP&A Assistant will work closely with the FP&A Manager and Finance team to deliver high-quality reporting, analysis, and support in line with business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure all recurring financial and operational reports are prepared, reviewed, and submitted on time.
* Maintain reporting calendars and proactively track deadlines for weekly, monthly, and quarterly deliverables.
* Validate data accuracy and consistency across all reports and dashboards.
* Support preparation of management reports, board decks, and KPI scorecards.
Financial Analysis & Support
Assist in compiling financial forecasts, budgets, and variance analyses.
Gather, organize, and analyze data from multiple systems and data sources.
Prepare ad-hoc analysis and reports as requested by FP&A Management.
Required Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (required).
Experience:
* 1- 3 years of previous experience with Finance roles required.
* Prior experience with financial reporting, variance analysis, or management reporting is not required but will be taken into account.
* Previous familiarity with Google Sheets is a plus.
Key Skills:
* Strong Excel / Google Sheets and data manipulation skills (pivot tables, lookups, formulas).
* Basic knowledge of ERP/financial systems (Xero, Salesforce) are a plus.
* Strong attention to detail with ability to identify and resolve data discrepancies.
* Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
* Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
This role is remote and will be performed Monday - Fri 9AM - 5PM (AEST)
Also note the role will be paid $8 AUD p/h due to being and Australian based buinsess.
