ABOUT THE ROLE
As Village Manager at Nova Village Busselton, you will oversee the day-to-day operation of this retirement community of 179 independent living units. Guiding a small, dedicated team to create a warm, inclusive, and connected community for our residents.
Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment where residents feel truly at home. You will lead with empathy and integrity, providing impeccable customer service. Your role will focus on delivering exceptional resident satisfaction, fostering a positive community culture, and maintaining operational excellence.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE INCLUDE
* Building respectful relationships with residents, responding to concerns with empathy and professionalism
* Ensuring full compliance with the Retirement Villages Act and relevant legislation
* Managing operational budgets with accountability and financial acumen
* Overseeing maintenance, repairs, and safety standards in collaboration with contractors and internal teams
* Encouraging resident engagement, working with committees and resident groups to plan and support community events and activities.
* Record, manage, and resolve resident complaints or disputes with sensitivity and in accordance with policy
* Maintaining accurate records, correspondence, and documentation
* Monitoring and identifying operational risks, escalating issues where necessary, and contributing to continuous service improvement
* Managing the process of residents entering and vacating the village
SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES
* Outstanding customer service and communication skills
* Solid financial literacy, including budgeting and reporting
* Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
* Excellent time management and independent working style
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and MYOB
* High attention to detail and commitment to compliance
