About the Opportunity
As a Cook you will provide quality food services to residents and provide kitchen and food preparation support to our Head Chef.
Working Hours
10:30am - 5:30pm & 6:30am - 2pm
Week 1 Wednesday to Sunday
Week 2 Thursday to Sunday
Duties include but not limited to:
* Taking direction from the Chef
* Ensure delicious well-balanced and nutritional meals are planned prepared and presented to meet the needs of our residents
* Assist with general food preparation kitchen duties and stock control
* Purchase and order stock and equipment
* Ensuring all food is prepared cooked and served in accordance with legislation
About You
To be successful you'll need:
* Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent (preferred)
* Experience in a commercial kitchen within aged care / healthcare
* Bulk cooking experience highly desirable
* Experience with texture modified food advantageous
* Ability to communicate effectively with residents families and co-workers
* Current COVID & Annual Flu Vaccination (Mandatory)
Successful applicants must complete a National Police Check and / or NDIS Worker Check
