Founded in 1864, Ghella operate in the construction of large public projects and specialise in underground excavation and tunnelling works. Over the course of 150 years we have built over 130 tunnels and connected more than 1,000 km's of highways, railways and subways.
Operating in Australia since 2010, we are working on some of the largest infrastructure projects in the country and have established a recognised presence in the local infrastructure market. Our first project in Australia, Legacy Way, was named 'Best Tunnelling Project in the World' in 2013 and since then we have continued to take on some of the countries' most crucial and challenging projects.
We are currently delivering in partnership with leading construction companies projects that make a difference to the community with some of our current projects including Sydney's M6 Stage 1 project, the Sydney Metro - Western Sydney Airport and Eastern Tunnelling projects and the Cross River Rail project in Brisbane.
Utilising advanced technologies and state-of-the-art construction methods, we are passionate about our environment and sustainability is always at the forefront of what we do. Our values and people are truly the heart of who we are as we continually strive to leave a better world to the next generations.
