As the Senior / Lead Electrical Engineer, you will work as part of our Resources team to provide and lead consultancy services, engineering services, technical input and direction in design, assisting with the development and execution of growth strategies that will drive new energy and resources business within ANZ and globally. You will lead the pursuit and delivery of key opportunities within the new energy and resources sector, supporting studies from our clients and possibly cross‑over into downstream delivery phases.
Responsibilities
* Lead design and engineering initiatives for new energy and resources projects.
* Collaborate with commercial, project management, engineering and design technical leaders to create opportunities for Jacobs to plan, develop, deliver and operate a range of projects.
* Develop a Jacobs offering that leverages our existing multi‑disciplinary capability, articulating and recruiting to fill any gaps identified within our current offering.
Qualifications
* Relevant Tertiary Engineering Degree (Professional Registration CPEng highly regarded) and demonstrated professional experience predominantly within the Mining resources sector.
* Robust knowledge of international and local engineering methods, applicable codes and specifications associated with resources projects.
* Demonstrated knowledge in the preparation of project lifecycle documents (including marketing and sales documents, proposals, concept designs, detailed designs and operations and maintenance documents) for major, resources, industrial and / or ICT projects.
* Experience in delivering EPC and / or EPCM projects.

* Proven experience in electrical engineering studies, projects and leading proposal teams.
* A strategic and innovative mindset coupled with the ability to solve complex problems, using strong interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with others.
