Join Roy Morgan and be part of a team conducting face-to-face interviews that capture the views, experiences, and behaviours of Australians. Our Field Research Officers play a vital role in collecting accurate, high-quality data that informs government, business, and community decisions across the country.

What you'll do

* Visit assigned households and confidently initiate conversations at the door
* Build rapport quickly, manage refusals and objections respectfully, and ensure informed consent
* Conduct accurate, structured interviews on a wide range of topics
* Record observations, follow safety and privacy protocols, and maintain strict confidentiality
* Plan your weekly schedule to meet agreed hours, including at least one weekend day

* Tech-comfortable: You're confident with tablets and following on-screen scripts/protocols.

Nice-to-have: experience in field interviewing, door-to-door outreach, call centre/customer service, community work, or education services.

Essentials

* Availability of 20+ hours per week (including one weekend day; flexibility to add hours at peak times)
* Current driver's licence and a reliable, registered vehicle
* Fluent English (spoken and written) and the legal right to work in Australia
* Willingness to obtain a National Police Check and Working with Children's Check (paid by Roy Morgan)
