About the Company
Urban Planning Services (UPS) is the pre-eminent town planning practice on the Gold Coast and has been established for more than 20 years. UPS is involved in all aspects of planning & urbanism from strategic planning through to site assessment. UPS undertakes all types of development applications including:

The Position
We are seeking a Senior Town Planner (minimum expected 5 years) demonstrated statutory planning experience. This appointment will be a full-time permanent basis & the position is available for immediate start. You will work on a vast array of projects with highly talented people & will be supported by a mentor to steward your career.
The successful applicant will need to demonstrate the following attributes, skills & experience:
* Positive, collegiate & customer focussed attitude.
* Self-motivated & ability to work autonomously on projects.
* High level written & oral communication skills.
* Knowledge of the Qld planning and approvals system
* Knowledge & experience with the Gold Coast Town Plan (experience with other SEQ town plans desirable).
* Ability to project manage development applications.
* Liaise with Government, developers, consultants & community stakeholders as required.
* Commercial focus, service and result orientated approach.
* Highly developed organisation & time management skills, ability to meet deadlines.
* Possess a current driver's licence.
Formal qualifications in Town Planning recognised by PIA are essential.
