You will also work closely with the Work Health and Safety Team, particularly with case management.With subject matter expertise and technical knowledge of relevant Australian Public Service (APS) employment legislation and frameworks, the Workplace Relations Advisor is responsible for providing advice on a range of human resources matters including employment conditions, policy interpretation, performance and conduct.About you:To be successful you will have:The ability to provide accurate and timely specialist advice consistent with ART policies and procedures, the ART Enterprise Agreement, employment legislation and frameworks.The confidence to work with ART managers ensuring that they are informed of relevant legislative requirements and supported to effectively manage performance and/or conduct matters through to timely resolution.Accurate record keeping skills, ensuring that detailed records relating to workplace relations are kept according to legislative requirements and ensure relevant reporting requirements are able to be met.The ability to build collaborative relationships with managers, members and staff across the ART, Attorney-General’s Department, the APS Commission and Comcare.The ART requires Australian Citizenship as a condition of engagement.All employees are required to undertake an Australian Federal Police Check and a Health Assessment.Tertiary qualifications in human resources and/ or AHRI certification would be highly regarded.More information about this position, the scope of the role, duties and required capabilities and experience, is contained within the Position Description, which is linked below and available on our Career Opportunities page.How to apply:To be considered, all applications must be submitted online via the Career Opportunities page.
