About the Role:
The Corporate Risk Officer will use their technical expertise to contribute to the delivery of functions and achieve outcomes for which their team is responsible. They will work as part of a small team in a multidisciplinary environment, possess an outcome-focused mindset, embody a proactive approach to achieving results, and exhibit strong professional ethics and judgement.
Key Responsibilities:
* Demonstrated experience in supporting processes and projects relating to enterprise risk, quality management, and/or legislative compliance functions
* Experience working as part of a team to effectively deliver services/functions and achieve outcomes for which it is responsible
* Ability to manage competing priorities in a rapidly changing environment while applying strong organisational skills and high level of attention to detail to consistently deliver high-quality outcomes
* Sound written and oral communication skills, and ability to build and maintain productive working relationships across a range of stakeholders
* Demonstrated research, analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
* Ability to self-motivate, work independently, and display initiative and confidence
Desirable Criteria:
* Tertiary qualifications in risk management, quality management, governance, business, or related field
* Experience in public sector and/or regulator operations
