About This Role
Martinus is a leading rail construction company working on major projects across Australia.
Key Responsibilities
* Contribute to maintaining a safe work environment by providing expert advice and driving continuous improvement.
* Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure project compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Monitor HSE performance of project/site teams and contractors, ensuring activities comply with relevant laws and company policy.
* Liaise with external authorities and stakeholders, including Inland Rail representatives.
* Manage registers and prepare reports on maintenance and compliance activities.
* Support the development and compilation of relevant HSE documentation.
Requirements
* A minimum of 5 years of experience in health and safety roles.
* Relevant HSE qualifications (Cert IV in WHS or higher).
* Expertise in interpreting and applying relevant WHS, Rail, Acts, Regulations, Australian Standards, and Codes of Practice.
* Demonstrated ability to understand audits and risk assessments.
* ICAM Lead Investigator certification.
* Training and Assessor Certificate 4.
* Ability to travel and work flexible hours.
