What does your role look like?
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to manage all aspects of the Coles account. The role is pivotal for meeting sales and gross profit targets. This role is all about diving deep into market trends, competitor insights, and customer feedback to spot and cultivate new business opportunities within the customer. Our ideal candidate will develop and roll out joint category plans and spearhead the range review process to ensure outcomes line up with business strategies. They’ll manage the private label tender process and keep a close eye on how new and existing products are performing. They’ll be responsible for managing promotional programs and demand forecasts to hit our agreed commercial targets.
This is a full-time position located at our brand-new office in the convenient Sydney Olympic Park precinct. Our perfect fit would already have these skills under their belt:
1. Substantial knowledge of both Sales and FMCG sectors.
2. Prior experience working with large grocery retailers, ideally Coles/Woolworths
3. Experience working with both branded and private label products.
4. Leadership qualities as this role will have 2 direct reports.
What can you bring?

5. Experience in national account sales, preferably within the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry or similar consumer-centric markets.
6. Applicants need to demonstrate strong commercial acumen, with a track record of developing and implementing strategic sales plans.

8. A genuine passion for customer service is important, along with the ability to cultivate trusting, collaborative, and mutually beneficial relationships.
9. Exceptional communication skills are a must, along with a consultative approach to influencing others using compelling facts and data.
