About this role:

There is a requirement for an experienced Registered Nurse, Division 2 to work in a magnetic environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for MRI Screening Checks, IV Cannulation, admission and education of patients and their families, post procedure care and recovery and discharge. They will also liaise with orderly staff for transport of patients post examination/procedure to wards.
We are looking for someone who has the skills and qualifications to administer oral and IM medication, with current Registration with Nurses Board of Victoria. They must be able to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team, responding effectively in emergency situations. A strong patient centred care approach and ability to build patient relationships is essential.
About you:
* You have experience working as a Registered Nurse, Division 2
* You have a qualification in IV Cannulation or are prepared to attend a cannulation course
* You have strong organisational, communication and interpersonal skills
* You are able to work in a high-field magnetic environment
