We’re providing multidisciplinary veterinary hospital services including 5 days a week Internal Medicine specialist care to pets and residents of the Gold Coast, NSW North Coast, and surrounds We’re now seeking an Internal Medicine Nurse to join us working closely with the wonderful Dr Lisa Singer and Dr Ingrid Goodman in a permanent full-time position. Internal Medicine specialises in diagnosing complex diseases, particularly those that are challenging to identify and those for which advanced testing may be required, and we’re fortunate to have a diverse team of Specialist Veterinarians and Nurses with a combined total of over a century of clinical expertise across our hospital. We’re offering a full time opportunity with hours between Monday – Friday, NO WEEKENDS or ON CALL AFTER HOURS! Who are we looking for? A keen interest in Internal Medicine and a desire to work closely with patients throughout their entire SASH journey. Experience with supporting medicine specialists with endoscopy procedures, advanced imaging and facilitating interesting clinical procedures. Confidence to manage and prioritise tasks effectively in a busy environment. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, you will be speaking with clients. Experience in Anaesthesia is essential. A sense of humour and a great work ethic. A passion for helping patients and their owners, we do amazing work and have fun together. To be considered for this position, applicants must have: Completed a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing. A Bachelors in Veterinary Tech is highly regarded, but not essential. A minimum of 2 years, full-time experience working as a qualified vet nurse. Previous experience in internal medicine would be highly regarded but not essential. What's in it for You?
