The primary purpose of this role is to lead and coordinate plumbing project planning and execution to optimise QBuild's profitability and deliver high-quality outcomes for clients.
This position oversees a team of office personnel, licensed plumbers, apprentices, and subcontractors engaged in plumbing design, installation, maintenance, and compliance activities.
Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate plumbing project planning and execution to optimise QBuild's profitability and deliver high-quality outcomes.
Oversee office staff, licensed plumbers, apprentices, and subcontractors across design, installation, maintenance, and compliance.
Manage timelines, supervise contracts, ensure adherence to codes and safety standards, and maintain strong client relationships.
Supervise plumbing construction, maintenance, and upgrades, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with Australian Standards and legislation.
Promote a safe work environment through personal practices and regular site inspections.
Ensure plumbing work meets all codes and standards, with required forms submitted and workmanship aligned with A.S.****.
Monitor project standards using effective work order systems, reporting on service quality, delivery, and expenditure.
Manage regional resources to ensure compliance with legislation, policies, and practices.
Valid Plumber Qualifications – If you're not qualified, this role isn't for you.

Preferred Skills & Experience
Thorough working knowledge of building construction and maintenance legislative and regulatory requirements, principles and practices and contract procedures.
Mandatory Requirements
Current Workplace Health & Safety General Safety Induction Card.
Current, valid Queensland "C" class driver's licence or equivalent.
Current QLD Plumbing and Drainage Licence.
Demonstrated experience in domestic and commercial construction plumbing installations to a high level of compliance and workmanship.
