These solutions are based on a diverse set of advanced water treatment technologies, servicing different industries and municipal clients.
Continuous demand on the workshop facilities has resulted in seeking qualified trades and trades assistant, to join the Asset Management & Manufacturing team in performing and supporting a variety of work across the workshop and asset base.
The roles will suit mechanical trades qualified persons who are willing to roll up their sleeves to take on routine mechanical workshop/manufacturing tasks while engaging in more challenging variety of work that the job offers. The job is well suited to those who have had a few years in the industry and want to learn extra skills in a multidisciplinary environment and would work equally well with those with extensive industry experience. Experience in Water Treatment industry will be helpful but not essential. The role will develop with experience into more supervisory assignments.
The key responsibilities and expectations from the role are
* Support the Workshop manager with all workshop tasks
* Be active part of the team responsible for manufacture or modification of water treatment plants using the trade skills
* Prepare the Water Treatment Plants before deployment and upon return to base.
* Support, supervise and actively work alongside the sub-contractors (Mechanical and electrical trades) working on the shop floor.
* Actively work with the commissioning team during plant testing.
* Manage and maintain a clean workshop
* Manage and maintain facilities like Water Service system, Air Compressor etc.
* Support plant & membrane cleaning and recovery work upon return of equipment to base.
The minimum requirements for the role include
* Trade qualification (Mechanical – pipefitters, welders, poly welders, mechanics), Trade certificate qualifications are acceptable for Trade Assistant's role.
* Forklift License
* Driving License
The roles are for full time permanent position, to increase the strength and capability of workshop in meeting growing requirements.
