About the Role
We're currently seeking a casual Driver to join our team in Launceston and surrounding areas. In this role, you'll provide safe, respectful, and high-quality passenger transport services to our valued consumers.
* Award Classification: Grade 3 under the Passenger Vehicle Transportation Award
* Benefits: Salary packaging options available
* Schedule: Casual shifts, Monday to Friday, within standard operating hours
* Vehicle Depot: Exeter, Prospect Vale or George Town
Key responsibilities of the position are to:
* Safely operate CTST vehicles of various sizes including those equipped for wheelchair users
* Work independently using a run sheet and our transport software 'Trips' on the in-vehicle iPad, adapting to changes to ensure efficient service delivery and passenger satisfaction
* Confidently use mobile devices (e.g. smartphones, iPads) for navigation and communication
* Maintain professional and courteous relationships with passengers, colleagues, and the public
* Conduct pre-departure safety checks and end-of-day procedures to ensure vehicle readiness
* Collaborate with Logistics Coordinators and Driver Support to resolve service challenges
* Use vehicle hoists and assist wheelchair users with care and confidence
Previous experience in passenger transport is desirable but not essential.

* Solid computer literacy and organisational skills
* Availability for early morning starts
* Physical capability to assist passengers and operate wheelchair hoists
* MR/HR licence (advantageous but not essential)
* Experience in aged care or disability support (preferred)
All CTST employees must:
* hold a current C class (car) driver's licence with a minimum 2 years driving experience
* possess or be willing to obtain a Working with Vulnerable Persons Card
* be willing to undergo a National Police Check
* be an Australian Resident or hold a valid Australian working visa
