Qualifications & Experience
- Truck License MR/HR minimum
- White Card
- Prior experience
- Work Secure at Heights (preferred)
- Chainsaw ticket (preferred)
- Excavator experience (preferred)
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Driving of trucks
- Rigging down of trees
- Felling of trees and ability to use chainsaw
- Manual and mechanical shifting of tree debris
- Cleaning of job sites
- Arrive at the yard/job site on time
- Works in a safe manner and performs a pre-start checklist before commencement of work.
- Regular checking of machines during operation.
- Ensure regular and preventative maintenance procedures are carried out.
- Responsible for the quality of their own work subject to general supervision;
- Works under general supervision either individually or in a team environment.
- Exercises discretion within their level of skills and training.
- Identifies basic faults in materials and equipment. Communicates essential information
- Interacts harmoniously with employees of other companies on-site. Adapts to a changing work environment.
On the job training, ability to further your career, working alongside new model, large equipment and excavators, and insurance, government, and commercial clients which ensure a variety of work.
