About the role Digital Marketing Lead to take ownership of multi-channel strategy and execution across a diverse portfolio of clients. In this role, you’ll lead SEO, paid advertising, content, social, and automation initiatives — driving performance, growth, and impact. You’ll work closely with the Director, Senior Strategist, and cross-functional specialists to bring campaigns to life, manage quality across deliverables, and turn insights into action. From shaping full-funnel strategies to crafting compelling content, managing campaign performance, and supporting CRO and automation, this role is ideal for someone who thrives on variety and loves being close to the action in a growing digital agency.With autonomy, variety, and plenty of room to shape the role, this is your opportunity to step into a high-impact position that blends strategic thinking with hands-on execution — and genuinely makes a difference to client success. This role is full-time, in-office role based in Wollongong (Corrimal). Key responsibilities: Digital Strategy – Develop and execute multi-channel digital marketing strategies aligned with client goals.SEO Leadership – Lead and implement technical, on-page, and off-page SEO strategies across client accounts.Paid Advertising – Plan, produce and implement strategic paid Google Ad & Social Media (Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok) campaigns.Campaign Management – Oversee digital campaign execution, timelines, and reporting. Own quality assurance across deliverables.Social Media – Plan, produce and implement organic content strategies and comprehensive digital content calendars for various social media channels that align with client brand values and campaign objectives.Copywriting – Write compelling, engaging, long and short form copy across blogs, websites, landing pages, ads, email and social media ensuring consistency across tone, messaging and brand voice.Content Creation – Ideate & create high quality written & visual content that will drive engagement and foster growth across all digital channels. Data & Reporting – Analyse campaign performance across key metrics and channels. Deliver insights and strategic recommendations to clients and internal teams.CRO Support – Collaborate with the Senior Strategist to support conversion rate optimisation and funnel development initiatives.Cross-Team Collaboration – Work closely with the Director, Senior Strategist, Developers, Designers, and external contractors.Content Management – Upload articles to various Website CMSs, schedule social media posts to various platforms, build and schedule EDMs.Marketing Automation – Plan, produce and implement strategic marketing automation such as personalisation, lifecycle & journey automation, email & sms automation, lead capture & qualification, etc. Required Skills & Capabilities: Strategic thinking with strong hands-on execution abilityDeep expertise and hands on experience across SEO, Google Ads, social media, email marketing, and funnel optimisationStrong understanding of CRO, UX, and customer journey designAdvanced short-form, long-form, and direct response copywriting skillsStrong creative judgment and brand tone managementData-driven with high attention to detail and reporting accuracyHighly organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple accounts and timelinesStrong ability to work autonomously with minimal direction as well as be a team player.Advanced proficiency using ChatGPT or similar AI tools, including strong prompt engineering skills, creative problem-solving through AI, and the ability to generate high-quality outputs efficiently.
