Firstly, you are dealing directly with the senior people in the company who can make things happen. There is no complex decision‐making process – you need something in particular, we can make the call. There are times when you are short of cash before pay day, as long as we can confirm you have worked, we can PayID or advance at short notice – as long as we can confirm you worked. We are also try to be understanding, rather than judging – as long as you communicate with us, we get that stuff happens. In short, we do try to treat you more than just a number, if you are reliable, add value to the clients and communicate if there are issues.
The Role
We're seeking an experienced civil labourer for upcoming works with one of preferred clients, working on road upgrades and associated infrastructure.
You'll be involved in:
* Kerb and channel works, culverts and drainage
* Grade checking and working around levels/lasers
* Spotting machinery and assisting operators
* General labouring including shovel work and site clean‐up
What We Need
* Proven civil construction experience (not general labouring)
* Ability to work around roadworks and live environments
* Reliable – turns up, works hard, no chasing required
* Comfortable following direction and working in a team
* And someone who will communicate with us if you cannot make it to work
This last one is a big one, whilst we get that stuff happens in life, the site you are at also has its needs. So to be fair to the site and to be fair to the people there, we just need to communicate with them. We wont get up you for telling us that life has thrown a curve ball.
