Job Summary:
A highly skilled Culinary Expert is required to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop menus with the Owner/Manager, including daily specials and catering options.
* Demonstrate cooking techniques and assign cooking duties to kitchen staff.
* Resolve food complaints efficiently with the kitchen and wait staff.
* Maintain up-to-date regulatory licenses, including Food Safety Supervisor.
* Input invoices for inventory and stock control.
* Supervise and prepare rosters for kitchen staff.
* Monitor all stages of preparation and presentation of dishes.
* Ensure high-quality standards are maintained in the kitchen.
* Regulate temperatures on ovens, grills, and other cooking equipment.
* Have full operational knowledge of all recipes and presentation styles.
* Ensure freshness and quality of ingredients.
* Enforce health and safety standards in the kitchen.
