About the Role
We're seeking a dedicated nurse with not only clinical expertise but also the heart and strength to support people through challenging times.
You'll work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver compassionate nursing care – including assessments, medication management, and immediate medical response.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver client-centred nursing care, empowering clients with information about their treatment plan and engaging them actively in their own recovery
* Communicate effectively during handovers and collaborate with internal and external health professionals
* Maintain confidentiality and uphold dignity by creating a clean, safe, and welcoming space
* Accurately document clinical care and contribute to a culture of safety, respect, and continuous improvement
What You'll Bring
* AHPRA registration (Div 1) and a relevant Nursing qualification
* Certificate IV in AOD (or willingness to obtain within 12 months)
* Experience in AOD services and confidence in managing challenging behaviors or dual diagnoses
* Calm, clear, and empathetic communication style, especially in crisis situations
* Strong sense of ethics, cultural sensitivity, and a genuine desire to uplift people from all walks of life
* Proficiency with clinical documentation and digital systems
* Employee Working with Children Check
* Valid Driver's Licence
