About the role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Cook to join our team at Bedingfield Park in Pinjarra. This is a full time, permanent role. The ideal candidate will have experience working in high-quality kitchen environments such as luxury hotels or high-end restaurants. You will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and serving food in accordance with menus, ensuring a high level of quality and presentation at all times.
* Prepare, cook, and serve food according to menus, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.
* Assist the Head Chef in the day-to-day operation of the kitchen in their absence.
* Maintain HACCP procedures and practices.
* Keep kitchen equipment and plant in good condition.
* Organize and implement food service.
* Plan and implement daily food preparation lists for effective production.
* Comply with all aspects of OH&S compliance.
* Assist in the induction of all staff.
* Attend team meetings as per meeting roster.
* Work in accordance with our Code of Conduct.
* Ensure safe and sound work practices that comply with Work, Health, and Safety policies and procedures and relevant legislation.
About You
* Experience working in high-quality kitchen environments such as luxury hotels or high-end restaurants.
* Strong organizational and leadership skills.
* Ability to maintain high standards of quality and presentation.
* Knowledge of HACCP procedures and practices.
* Commitment to OH&S compliance and safe work practices.
