About the role
We have a part time opportunity for an experienced Hospitality Worker, which includes cleaning, kitchen duties and laundry to join our Juninga Aged Care facility located in Coconut Grove, NT.
This part-time role will see you working set shifts of Thursday and Friday – 8am – 16.30pm with ability to pick up additional shifts on an ad hoc basis. The remuneration for this role is $29.53 - $31.81 / hour gross (dependent on prior experience) plus salary sacrifice benefits.
Juninga is a 26-bed aged care facility and also includes 10 independent living cabins.
Your role as a Hospitality Worker will see you providing a multi-faceted support across Housekeeping, Catering and Laundry which includes cleaning both within residents’ rooms and common areas, linen and personal laundry services as well as preparing and serving meals to our residents.
This opportunity will suit a caring and kind person who enjoys interacting with our aged care residents. As the ideal candidate, you will be a proactive person with a caring nature. You will enjoy supporting the elderly and working in a busy environment. In addition, you will be able to commit to the set part-time shifts allocated.

Skills & experience:
To be considered for this role, you must submit a resume identifying the following skills and experience:
- Demonstrated experience in working in one or more of the core areas of a Hospitality worker – Cleaning, Laundry, or Kitchen support.
- Able to commit to part-time hours.
- Currently holds, or willing to obtain a Food Handlers Certificate.
- Be well presented, organised, and committed to work.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and time-sensitive workplace.
- Have a caring and supportive nature towards vulnerable people.
- Ability to manage and work within a culturally diverse team environment
- An ability to undertake a range of manual handling functions related to the role.
