The Role
As a Social Media Officer at News Perform you’ll be joining a team of highly skilled, driven & passionate traffic growth experts, from SEO executives to journalists and video producers.
You will actively engage our users and help drive traffic on our social media platforms.
The responsibilities of the role include:
- Taking charge of the social media channel and growing reach both organically and paid.
- Create and edit content for social media and news items on the website, including digital assets.
- Keeping abreast of industry trends and compelling marketing campaigns to craft powerful posts for different social media channels.
- Work closely with our videographers, copywriters, SEO executives, product team etc to develop and implement social media strategies and campaigns in line with strategic priorities and branding.
- Develop a content strategy on a regular basis to ensure maximum engagement and brand awareness.
- Assisting in the development and distribution of marketing material across our social media channels
- Data analysis and reporting on key metrics
- Conduct competitor analysis and industry research

- 2+ years of experience in a similar role
- Proficiency in social media platforms including Instagram, Tik
Tok, Twitter, Facebook and Linked
In and You
Tube.
- Experience creating and running paid campaigns on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and so on, for example Facebook Business Suite and Ads Manager
- Experience with design software like Canva and social media scheduling software
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement social media campaigns that engage the audience and grow reach of the business brands.
- Understanding of social media platforms’ search optimisation.
