Anopportunity exists for an experienced and people-focused Retirement Village Manager to lead the operations and sales of our established community located in Townsville. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring operational excellence, resident satisfaction, and achievement of occupancy targets, while fostering a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment for all residents.
About You
With proven leadership experience in retirement living, hospitality, property, or health related sectors, you will have strong sales acumen in a business-to-consumer environment, ideally within property or lifestyle services with strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Along with
* A sound understanding of relevant legislation (experience with the Retirement Villages Act is highly regarded)
* Financial literacy, including experience in budgeting and reporting
* Experience in strata management (desirable)
* A genuine passion for enhancing the lives of older Australians
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee the day-to-day operations of the village in accordance with the Retirement Villages Act and relevant accreditation standards
* Lead and support the sales process to achieve and exceed occupancy targets
* Develop and deliver a calendar of social activities and events to enhance resident wellbeing
* Build and maintain strong relationships with residents and the Resident Committee
* Manage budgeting, resource planning, and strategic initiatives for the village
* Collaborate with the Strata Committee on maintenance and operational matters
* Promote a culture of customer service, safety, and community engagement
