Harrison McMillan is seeking a Human Resources Advisor (APS6) to work with a Federal Government Department in their learning and development team.
Role
This role will be part of a small, agile team that supports both operational and strategic HR functions and activities for the Department.
Success
* Provide advice to enable the planning, procurement and coordination of delivery of L&D activities and programs
* Manage the internal learning management system, including specific eLearning modules and training programs
* Assist in the development, revision and implementation of learning and development policies, procedures and other guidance
* Liaise with learning and development teams across relevant Departments
* Support procurement and evaluation activities as required for learning and development activities and programs
* Support the internal administration of important Australia surveys, along with the development and delivery of related action planning activities
Experience
* Proven experience within the learning & development function including knowledge of relevant APS frameworks, learning requirements and policy frameworks
* Demonstrated ability to plan, prioritise and organise work to achieve team goals and meet deadlines, including dealing with competing demands and managing multiple projects
* Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships and influence the greater team including senior stakeholders
* Ability to model positive behaviours and create a professional and collaborative working environment that encourages personal/career development
Essential
* experience in human resource, and/or learning and development
* current baseline security clearance
