About the role

Essential requirements of the role
* AQF Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade or equivalent or relevant experience
* Minimum 2 years' experience
* Demonstrated trades experience working in the mining or manufacturing industry
* Excellent experience of Fabricating new products from blueprint drawings (i.e) Fabrication of pipe work, chutes & structural structures
* Excellent knowledge of refurbishment of large mining equipment, large mining excavator buckets, excavator booms and associated mobile mining equipment.
* Experience in a workshop environment
* Advanced welding experience, including grinding, cutting (friction and gas), welding (GMAW and MMAW), air arc gouging, polishing, cropping and pressing
* Experience in using Air arc carbon methods
* Exceptional safety standards
* Time management and ability to prioritise competing demands
* Ability to maintain high work standards with minimal supervision
* Ability to problem solve and show a high level of initiative
* Ability to read and interpret drawings
* Respect for their team
