To support this, they are seeking an experienced WHS Manager who can lead the development and enforcement of health and safety policies, ensure regulatory compliance, and promote secure work practices across engineering and manufacturing teams.
Position
We\'re looking for an experienced WHS Manager who can take charge of the workplace health and safety compliance. The ideal candidate will be a confident leader, well-versed in current legislation and safety standards, and capable of building a strong safety culture across all levels of the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
Enforce WHS compliance and ensure all operations adhere to relevant safety legislation and standards.
Develop, implement, and update a comprehensive WHS handbook tailored to our business activities.
Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate staff on protected work practices.
Stay up to date with regulatory changes and ensure ongoing alignment with legal requirements.
Lead incident investigations and drive continuous improvement in safety performance.
Collaborate with site managers and leadership to embed safety into everyday operations.
Requirements
Minimum 8 years of experience in a WHS role, preferably in construction, logistics, or manufacturing.
In-depth knowledge of Australian WHS legislation, codes of practice, and risk management principles.
Proven experience in developing training programs and WHS documentation.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Relevant WHS qualifications and certifications.
