About Your Role
As the Revenue Education & Training Officer, you will play a key role in supporting revenue optimisation across Princess Alexandra Hospital by developing and delivering training programs, reviewing systems and processes, and providing expert support to staff across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities Include
* Developing and delivering revenue education and training programs for staff
* Creating training resources including manuals, workbooks and learning tools
* Conducting quality audits of systems and processes to support compliance
* Analysing information and producing reports to support revenue improvement initiatives
* Reviewing current processes and recommending improvements based on analysis and stakeholder input
* Collaborating with billing and revenue teams to support effective training delivery
About You
You are a proactive and analytical professional who enjoys translating complex information into practical training and guidance for others.
You Will Demonstrate
* Knowledge of healthcare revenue processes and funding systems
* Experience with inpatient or outpatient administration processes
* Understanding of legislative and financial frameworks within the health sector
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
* Ability to review processes and identify opportunities for improvement
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
* Ability to develop and deliver effective training programs
* A proactive approach to learning and knowledge sharing

About The Revenue Services Department, Princess Alexandra Hospital
Revenue Services is responsible for billing and optimising revenue from fee-paying patients and provides advice to senior management and Hospital executive on the efficient and effective management of resources with a particular emphasis on revenue opportunities, changes in revenue guidelines and legislation, revenue processes and systems at the state and commonwealth level.
Revenue plays an important role within the Hospital and improving revenue for fee-paying patients is considered a critical element in funding both current services and future initiatives.
