Specialised Project Management Group P/L is hiring a full‑time Mechanical Engineer in Melbourne, VIC.

Roles and Responsibilities
* Oversee and coordinate the installation, operation, and maintenance of mechanical systems and services.
* Contribute to the design and development of mechanical systems and equipment to improve efficiency and reliability.
* Review engineering designs and technical specifications prepared by consultants to ensure compliance with Australian Standards and project requirements.
* Conduct commissioning, validation, and performance testing of mechanical systems to ensure reliability and efficiency.
* Prepare technical documentation, reports, and compliance records.
* Investigate and resolve mechanical issues during construction and operational phases.
* Collaborate with contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders to deliver projects on time and to specification.
Skills and Experience Required
* Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
* Minimum 2+ years of relevant post‑graduate mechanical engineering experience in construction, building services, or infrastructure projects.
* Strong understanding of mechanical systems and Australian Standards.
* Demonstrated problem‑solving and analytical abilities.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
