About the Role:
This role is responsible for providing professional and safe transport services, with experienced Heavy Haulage Drivers to transport and deliver over-dimensional and over-mass machinery and equipment to customer specified destinations in a reliable and safe manner.
Key Responsibilities:
* Loading and unloading varying over-dimensional and over-mass machinery and equipment
* Safely restraining machinery and equipment in accordance with NTC Load Restraint Guide
* Completing prestart and other operational checklists and administrative paperwork
* Carrying and understanding all statutory and regulatory permits
* 50-ton experience or 100-ton experience
* Mechanically minded to complete vehicle maintenance
Key Requirements:
* MC Driver's Licence with previous experience within the heavy haulage division and/or previous experience in the Transport Division completing Road Train Work with the interest of moving into the division (you will be required to commence as a Pilot Driver to move through into the Low Loader)
* Experience in operating a range of low loader trailers with the ability to tow general trailers up to triple road train when required
* Extensive experience transporting over-dimensional equipment and machinery
* A sound knowledge of road transport legislation including fatigue management, permit requirements and operating conditions
