A leading Australian manufacturer is seeking a Project Engineer to join its Capital Projects team. Known for its innovative approach to production, this organisation is committed to developing its people and integrating cutting-edge technology into its operations.
This is a permanent, full-time role providing the opportunity to work on electrical engineering projects in a highly collaborative and forward-thinking environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead electrical engineering projects from conception to completion, including planning, vendor management, and budget monitoring.
Review technical drawings and collaborate with contractors across electrical engineering for installation, commissioning and testing.
Work closely with Operations, Maintenance and Project teams to ensure smooth integration of engineering projects.
Manage external vendors, including equipment suppliers, consultants and renewable energy specialists, to ensure project goals and timelines are met.
Candidate Requirements
4+ years experience in a manufacturing, heavy industry, or FMCG environment working on engineering projects.
Proven track record in electrical systems.
Electrical engineering certification.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, experience working with multiple stakeholders, cross-functional teams and external vendors.
Desirable
Previous experience in utilities, oil & gas or mining industries.
Knowledge of project management software and tools.
