About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced project coordinator to lead the implementation of our Primary Health Care Continuity Plan.
This role involves establishing and maintaining effective relationships with healthcare providers, emergency services, and local government. Key responsibilities include coordinating program activities, organizing training sessions, and monitoring project milestones.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a diploma or tertiary qualification in health, emergency management, project management, or a related field. Strong stakeholder engagement, facilitation, and communication skills are essential, as well as sound knowledge of disaster preparedness and continuity planning.
You will work independently and collaboratively using Microsoft Office and project management tools. A current driver's license and willingness to travel across the Discovery Coast region are also required.
Key Responsibilities
* Stakeholder Engagement: Develop and maintain strong working relationships with healthcare providers, emergency services, and local government.
* Program Coordination: Lead the co-design and implementation of the Primary Health Care Continuity Plan, including tools and formal agreements.
* Training & Simulation: Organize and deliver training sessions and mock disaster scenarios to test preparedness.
* Monitoring & Reporting: Track project milestones, prepare reports, and support program evaluation activities.
* Sustainability Planning: Develop long-term strategies, activation protocols, and handover frameworks.
