We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive payroll professional to join our organization, based at our Melbourne office. This role is pivotal in ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant payroll services for our Australian and New Zealand operations.
About the Role
* Manage fortnightly payroll for entities in Australia and New Zealand.
* Ensure compliance with employment agreements, Modern Awards, and relevant legislation.
* Process payroll tasks including new hires, terminations, leave management, and changes to deductions.
* Support and maintain the time and attendance system, including data import and manager training.
* Assist with payroll reporting, audits, and remuneration activities.
* Provide expert guidance on payroll queries and support junior colleagues.
* Maintain data integrity and confidentiality across all payroll systems.
Your Skills and Qualifications
* Proven experience in end-to-end payroll processing.
* Familiarity with TechnologyOne (HRIS) and Optima (rostering system).
* Strong understanding of National Employment Standards and Fair Work Modern Awards.
* Health sector payroll experience is advantageous.
* High attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* Ability to work autonomously and meet tight deadlines.
