Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced driver to join our team in a key role.
The successful candidate will be responsible for representing the company in a professional manner while picking up freight from customers and delivering to customers.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Pick up and deliver general and express freight in accordance with safety regulations.
* Ensure freight is securely loaded and unloaded.
* Manage and collect all consignment paperwork and/or manifests.
* Adhere to scanning and Proof of Delivery procedures.
* Drive safely and lawfully.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Excellent Communication Skills:
* Current manual HR/HC licence or above.
* Experience in pick-up and delivery of general and express freight.
* Current Forklift ticket required.
* Good understanding of freight handling and safety procedures.
