Seeking a Reliability Engineer to enhance asset performance and cost objectives.
* This role involves leading reliability improvement in the engineering and maintenance team, analyzing asset performance, and delivering long-term asset improvement.
* The successful candidate will be accountable for reviewing maintenance strategies, recommending modifications, and supporting the maintenance team as required.
* Mechanical or Electrical trade qualifications and/or tertiary qualification in a relevant engineering discipline (e.g., Reliability/Mechanical/Electrical/Mechatronics/Condition Monitoring/Asset Management).
* Demonstrated experience in a similar role, contributing to a team of professionals to deliver against set targets.
This is an opportunity to work on-site at Aquila Mine in Middlemount, Queensland. The successful candidate will contribute to the Engineering and Maintenance Department's strategic objectives by providing expertise in equipment reliability.
The key areas of focus include Defect Elimination, Asset Tactics, Business Improvement, Asset Condition and Health Monitoring, Financial Decision Making, and Operational Readiness.
* Develop and implement continuous improvement programs to enhance asset operational time through Asset Management, Condition Monitoring, Defect Elimination, Root Cause Analysis, Managing Machine Health Programs.
* Prepare and maintain engineering and maintenance reporting dashboards and analysis to monitor asset performance and asset health.
