**About the Role**
The purpose of this position is to support the bank's Core Banking system to ensure the business needs are achieved. The aim of this role is to maximise the system potential, minimise system downtime and improve overall user experience. The position will engage with the business for enhancements to core systems. This is achieved by, understanding the business and their end-to-end processes, analysing the business problem, and identifying appropriate solutions.

We are looking for a Lead Engineer to provide technical knowledge, leadership, and direction to engineering team.
- Interface with other technical personnel and product owners to finalize requirements - Serve as the initial point of escalation for software development issues within the core banking domain.
- Helping evolve development guidelines, practices & principles for a world where services development & delivery is moving faster than ever.
- Designing resilient & redundant infrastructure to maintain high availability and reliability.
- Continuously championing Agile Methodologies to release & deploy iterations of our services.
- Represent your team and product line in cross-functional discussion.
- Develop and deliver Demos and Proof of concepts based on customer requirements.
- Analyze new technologies, integrate with new 3rd parties and customer existing systems.
- Software installation, configuration, conducting POCs setup and maintenance of production platform

**About you**
- 10+ years of software development experience in Temenos transact
- Experience in Temenos Transact modules Arrangement Architecture, Core Accounts, Limits, Collaterals, Funds transfer, Temenos Payment Hub
- Working knowledge on Loans, Deposits, Accounts and Payment products
- Ability to develop in Infobasic and java.
- Technical expertise in T24 upgrade tools and knowledge in TAFJ/IF/IRIS/Design Studio/Temenos workbench/GIT will be an added advantage
- Experience working in a team focusing on large-scale, multi-release information centric projects
- Excellent communication/interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively across business lines at all levels
- Strong technical, problem solving and analytical reasoning skills to understand end user's requirements and transform into operational solutions
