Full-Time Mechanical Engineer Opportunity
Verbrec is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Adelaide. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional who is passionate about delivering high-quality engineering solutions and contributing to the growth and success of our organization.
About the Role
This role involves providing technical support in engineering and design processes, developing and supporting FEED and concept design studies, and assisting in developing scoping documents such as routing studies, construction methodology, design criteria, and pipeline alignment sheets. Additionally, you will participate in risk assessments and related workshops, prepare and support cost estimates, equipment summaries, and tender packages, and conduct mechanical engineering design and documentation from concept through to construction.
About You
* A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering field with relevant experience is required.
* 3-5 years' experience in mechanical engineering, especially pipeline design, piping, pressure vessels, and static equipment analysis is essential.
* Proven experience in Australian oil and gas pipeline projects, including concept, FEED, and detailed design phases is necessary.
* Knowledge of AS2885 and other relevant Australian standards, acts, and regulations is required.
* Progress towards or achievement of Chartered Engineer status with Engineers Australia is desirable.
* The ability to manage multiple projects independently with conflicting deadlines is a must.
