Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Legal Professional to join our organization. As a Corporate Lawyer, you will play a vital role in providing timely, high-quality legal advice and governance services across the organization.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
* Providing practical legal advice to business leaders and stakeholders;
* Drafting and negotiating commercial contracts;
* Identifying legal and governance risks and recommending mitigations;
* Managing relationships with external legal service providers;
* Developing and implementing policies, procedures, and other legal documentation;
* Delivering training programs on relevant legal issues;
* Monitoring and responding to new legislation and regulatory developments;

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:
* Admission as a solicitor in an Australian State or Territory with a current Practising Certificate;
* A minimum of four years post-admission experience in corporate and commercial law;
* Demonstrated capability in drafting and negotiating complex legal documents;
* Strong judgement, discretion, and analytical ability;
* Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills to establish trusted relationships;
* Highly developed written skills and experience preparing legal and regulatory documents.
You will also need to be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
