Senior Structural Designer Job Description
As a Senior Structural Designer, you will play a critical role in delivering structural design and drafting services that meet project requirements. This position offers an opportunity to provide valued support to our team as part of ongoing works.
* Deliver high-quality structural design and drafting services that meet client and statutory requirements.
* Develop and implement 2D and 3D structural models and layouts.
* Perform complex design and drafting assignments on time and within budget.
* Review drawings and documents to ensure they meet our checking procedures and participate in project reviews as required.
* Provide technical guidance and assistance within the Design Team and liaise with engineering teams.
* Communicate effectively with discipline teams and project stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will have experience in oil & gas, especially those who have worked on both brownfield and greenfield projects. Mining experience may also be considered.
* Minimum of 7 years design drafting experience – must be confident in working independently as well as in a team.
* Strong knowledge industry design standards and practices.
* Associate Diploma in engineering or equivalent relevant qualification.
